| A Diocesan Marian Pilgrimage and Retreat will be held at Stella Maris on September 3rd & 4th, 2016. This year, the Year of Mercy, we are arranging a special Pilgrimage and Retreat. Pilgrimage Programme
The Pilgrimage and Retreat will be held on the weekend of 3rd to 4th September 2016. The pilgrimage will begin at 08:00 at St. Henry's Cathedral in front of the church. The bus will stop at St. Mary's Church and then continue to Lohja.
The Pilgrimage will be about 25 km on foot. During the hike we will stop for prayer and for picnic meals. We will arrive at Stella Maris at approximately 17:00 and will then have a time of devotion in front of the statue of Our Lady before dinner. The Retreat will start with meditation and a full night of adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Stella Maris Church.
On Sunday, after breakfast there will be spiritual talks given by Father Raimo, Father Gianni and Brother Leonard.
Finally, on Sunday evening we will return by bus to Helsinki.
If you are unable to join us in person, please consider sponsoring the Pilgrimage with a donation that would allow the participation of one or two people who otherwise could not afford to be with us.
