Welcoming Team Spring Progamme

The Welcoming Team welcomes new members to the Catholic Diocese of Helsinki. Now the Welcoming Team's spring programme has been released.

Note these dates:
March 28: One-day Bible Conference at St Mary’s (Mäntytie 2)
March 29: Presentation of Divine Mercy
April 9-11: Mystagogê – An introduction to the Holy Triduum
May 2: One-day Bible Conference at St Mary’s (Mäntytie 2)
June 7: Picnic at Kaivopuisto from 11 a.m. 


Please note that Gabriel Salmela OP has been named Moderator of the Welcoming Team.

In the Diocese of Helsinki  there are now some 80 different nationalities. On Sunday, June 9th, we're getting together in Kaivopuisto Park for a Picnic Day arranged by the Welcoming Team to give people a chance to get to know each other.

Join the picnic after Mass at St Henry's and bring  food specialities from your country of origin.  We'll be singing, bonding, praising the Lord and enjoying the food!

June 9th is Picnic Day

What? We're having a picnic
Where? Kaivopuisto Park, next to St Henry's
When? Sunday, June 9th, 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
What do I bring? Food or something else edible from your country.
Then what? We get to know each other and enjoy the food and company!

Information Centre theme of Welcoming Team meeting on March 25th

The Welcoming Team gathers at the Studium Catholicum again on Sunday, March 25th. The theme for the day is the Catholic Information Centre of the Diocese of Helsinki.

In April, the meeting centers on Caritas Finland and global Share the Journey campaign. In May it's the Welcoming Team's traditional picnic in   Kaivopuisto park.
