September Pilgrimage and Retreat at Stella Maris

​A Diocesan Marian Pilgrimage and Retreat will be held at Stella Maris on September 3rd & 4th, 2016.

This year, the Year of Mercy, we are arranging a special Pilgrimage and Retreat. All members of the Diocese are welcome to take part in the 2nd Diocesan Marian pilgrimage from St. Lawrence Church, Lohja to the Diocesan Centre of Stella Maris, Paksalo.

The Pilgrimage and Retreat begins in front of St Henry's Cathedral at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 3rd. The bus will stop at St. Mary's Church and then continue to Lohja, from where the pilgrimage continues on foot.

From areas other than Helsinki, please inform the organisers and arrange your own transportation. The price of the pilgrimage and the retreat is EUR40 per person, which includes bus transport from and to Helsinki, meals, accommodation and other programmes.

The Welcoming Team (based at the Studium Catholicum)  again arranges a Pilgrimage to Stella Maris in the autumn. Join us on September 3-4 on a pilgrimage supported by the Diocese, St Henry's and St Mary's parishes, Stella Maris and Caritas Finland.

Take part in the pilgrimate to get spiritually fit: deepen your faith and strengthen your relationship to God through Our Lady!

Price: €40
The fee includes transport by bus, meals at Stella Maris and accommodation.

Welcoming Team: Pilgrimage to Rome

On Sunday, March 13, the theme of the Welcoming Team meeting is the Jubilee Pilgrimage to Rome made by St Henry's Cathedral Parish at the beginning of March.

From 1 p.m. on March 13 Diana Kaley, the Studium's Secretary General, who took part in the pilgrimage, will give a talk about the pilgrimage made during the Jubilee of Mercy, concentrating on the three homilies of the Pope. After the coffee break other pilgrims will share their experiences of the memorable pilgrimage.
