The Society of Blessed Hemming (Autuaan Hemmingin seura) is a Finnish-speaking Catholic youth group founded in 2016 which meets at the Studium Catholicum. The monthly meetings are usually held on a Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m. with Holy Mass. After Mass we explore different topics related to Christian life in contemporary society. On February 23 we meet from 5 to 7.30 p.m. to discuss the meaning of work in Christian life. Father Manuel Prado will give a talk on the subject. |
In April the Society joins other youth groups at the Diocesan Youth Weekend at Stella Maris and on Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. we gather for Mass at the Studium and then discuss the role of Lay Dominicans.
