The Night of Science is a block party for science and research. It is celebrated annually in Kruununhaka, Helsinki. The 2020 event takes place on Thursday, January 16th. All Night of Science events, including the one at the Studium, are free of charge. At the Studium from 5 p.m. through 9.30 p.m. you can learn more about Jeanne d'Arc.
#NightofScience at the StudiumAt the Studium you will learn more about Jeanne d'Arc from Brother Marie-Augustin Laurent OP, essayist Antti Nylén, Naster of Laws Matti Norri and docent Osmo Pekonen, who will look at Jeanne d’Arc from different perspectives. Always controversial, Jeanne d'Arc was executed and then declared a saint. Three of the presentations are in Finnish and one in English. |
