| On Wednesday, January 25, a delegation of three brothers from the Curia of the Order of Preachers at Santa Sabina in Rome arrived for a visitation of the Studum Catholicum in Helsinki. The delegation from the Council of the Dominican Order is headed by the Vicar of the Master of the Order, Fr. Vivian Boland OP, who is Irish. The other members of the delegation are the Socius for the Apostolic Life, Fr, Orlando Rueda Acevedo OP from Colombia, and the Socius for Central & Eastern Europe, Fr. Krzysztof Poplawski OP from Poland.
Among the guests at the reception held at the Studium in honour of the visitors from Rome was the Orthodox Metropolitan of Helsinki Ambrosius.
