Hebrew Bible Study

Do you have basic Hebrew-reading skills? Then come and join us in studying the Bible in Hebrew twice a month on Saturdays. We will begin on January 23 at 2 p.m. with the first chapter of Genesis. and ideally you will have read the chapter before we meet up. We will discuss the text in Finnish/English.

After January 23, we will meet on February 13 and 20. Welcome!

Welcoming Team Programme for Spring

The Spring 2016 programme of the Welcoming Team has been revealed. The gatherings are open for new and old members of the Catholic Church and anyone else who is interested!

The presentations (in English and Finnish) on different themes are on the second Sunday of each month at 13.00 - 15.00 at the Studium Catholicum. Welcome!

From January 18, 2016, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Studium Chapel moves from Wednesday evenings to Mondays at 11 a.m.

Talk on Theotokos Icon at the Studium

The registered association Konevitsa ry (i.e. friends of the Konevsky Monastery) holds its Annual General Meeting at the Studium Catholicum at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feburary 6, 2016.

In conjunction with the AGM Konevitsa ry offers a talk by illustrator and iconographer Ulla Vaajakallio. She will be speaking about the Icon of the history of the Konevsky Theotokos Icon that she has painted. Please note that the talk is in Finnish.
